Books I recommend:
Blue Like Jazz
by Donald Miller (This guy
writes with such an authentic voice and he really
touches on issues we need to consider as Christians.)
The Ragamuffin Gospel
by Brennan Manning (I have
never come across an author who has an intimate
understanding of Grace as does Manning. This is for
everyone, especially people who think they have to earn
God's love but don't realize it's already freely given.)
Velvet Elvis
by Rob Bell (In Rob's
compelling little book we see not only the value but
also the
necessity of "repainting" the Christian faith. This may
be hard to swallow for some, but I still highly
recommend it.)
The Grace Way
by Cal Bodeutsch (My good
friend Cal touches on some major issues regarding grace
living and avoiding the snares of legalism. Get yourself
a copy of this TODAY from Grace Publications! You can
find them at www.ggfusa.org)
Understanding Your Bible
by S. Craig MacDonald
(Craig deals with the basic issues of understanding the
bible from a dispensational viewpoint in this
well-written book. The book is easy to read an
understand and the content is solid.)
